Mahtari Vandana Yojana Raipur: The Vishnudev Sai government in Chhattisgarh has approved the most important Mahtari Vandan Yojana. This is the same scheme that the women of the state have been waiting for a long time. The proposal was approved at a recent Cabinet meeting. With this scheme, efforts are being made to improve the economic condition of women in the state. Under this scheme, farmers are given financial assistance of Rs 1000 every month. The state government has completed preparations for this.

As announced by the BJP at the time of elections, Rs 12,000 will be given in the account of women every year under this scheme. Under the Mahantri Vandana Yojana, Rs 1,000 or Rs 12,000 per month will be sent to the bank accounts of women through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).

It is very important to be eligible to take advantage of the Mahatari Vandana Yojana. Only a woman resident of Chhattisgarh can apply for the Mahantri Vandana Yojana. To take advantage of this scheme, the age of the woman should be 21 years in the case of 1 January 2024.

Apart from married women, widows, divorced, abandoned women have also been made eligible to take advantage of the scheme. Women beneficiaries of this scheme should not be income tax payers and the annual income should not be more than Rs 5 lakh.

Documents have also been prescribed for the women who have to take advantage of the Mahtari Vandana Yojana. All required documentation must be submitted with the application.
