On the 71st anniversary of his birth, Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Kareena Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and Rakesh Roshan among others paid tribute to the late actor Rishi Kapoor. On Monday, they uploaded old photos of Rishi and wrote notes on Instagram.

A video montage of Rishi from various of his films was published by Neetu Kapoor. The post’s description was just “In remembrance (folded hands emoji).” The movies featured excerpts from many different movies, including Mera Naam Joker, Bobby, Karz, Chandni, and Kapoor & Sons. Riddhima, Ekta Kapoor, Saba Ali Khan, and Maniesh Paul all responded to the tweet with red heart emojis.

Riddhima, the daughter of Rishi, shared a photo collage from her youth on Instagram Stories. It featured Riddhima and Ranbir, two little children, posed elegantly with Rishi. In one of the photos were Rishi, Neetu, Riddhima, and Samara, her daughter. “Happy Birthday, papa” (emoji of a white heart). Today I miss you a little more,” she said as the caption. She captioned a another old photo of herself that she sent to her parents, “Papa’s carbon copy.”

Kareena Kapoor shared a vintage photo in honor of her late uncle Rishi. In the sepia image, Rishi was grinning and looked behind him. “Happy birthday, Chintu Uncle,” she wrote.Always in our heart, in red. We miss you.

An old photo of Rishi and his son, the actor Ranbir Kapoor, was shared by Sanjay Dutt. They all held hands and grinned for the camera. “Chintu Sir was more than family, he embodied one of the finest actors and human beings,” he wrote as the post’s caption. His contagious humor, engaging anecdotes, and sincerity bind us together. The emptiness he left on the anniversary of his birth is evident, yet his loving remembrance keeps him alive in our hearts. Rishi Kapoor’s 71st Birthday With Rishi, Rakesh Roshan shared a flashback photo that appeared to be from the set of their movie. While Rakesh was looking in front of him in the candid photo, Rishi was seen gazing at the ground and had his hands folded. “Chintu miss you, buddy, it’s 4th Sept Celebrate!!!” he wrote.

Bobby, Chandni, Henna, Saagar, Do Dooni Chaar, Agneepath, Amar Akbar Anthony, Kabhi Kabhie, Naseeb, Coolie and Ajooba, Kapoor & Sons, and Mulk are just a few of the movies he worked on. His most recent movie, Sharmaji Namkeen, featured Paresh Rawal because the actor had unfinished work in some of his previous movies.
