Jio Air Fiber : The wait for Jio’s Air Fiber is over, it will be launched on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi i.e. September 19. The announcement was made by Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani at the company’s annual general meeting (AGM). Jio will deliver wireless broadband services to homes and offices using AirFibre, 5G networks and cutting-edge wireless technology. There is a possibility of turmoil with the landing of Jio Air Fiber in the telecom sector.

“More than 1 crore premises are connected to our optical fibre service, Jio Fiber. There are still millions of premises where it is difficult to provide wire connectivity. Jio AirFibre will ease this difficulty. Through this, we are hoping to reach 20 crore homes and premises. With the introduction of Jio AirFib, Jio will be able to add 1.5 lakh new customers every day.“

Jio’s optical fibre infrastructure is spread across 15 lakh km across India. On an average, a customer uses more than 280 GB of data per month on optical fibre, which is 10 times more than Jio’s per capita mobile data consumption. Along with Jio AirFibre, the launch of ‘Jio True 5G Developer Platform “and’ Jio True 5G Lab” was also announced at the annual general meeting.

Announcing the launch, Jio Chairman Akash Ambani said, “We are building a platform that will transform the way Indian enterprises, small businesses and technology start-ups interact with the digital world. Keeping in mind the needs of enterprises, Jio has created a comprehensive platform combining 5G network, edge computing and applications. At the ‘Jio True 5G Lab, “our technology partners can develop, test and co-create industry-specific solutions. The Jio True 5G Lab will be located at.“
