ED raids Harak Singh Rawat The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is conducting raids at the premises of former Uttarakhand minister and Congress leader Harak Singh Rawat. The ED is conducting searches at 16 locations. According to sources, the raids are being conducted in Delhi, Chandigarh and Uttarakhand.According to the information, the Enforcement Directorate is taking action in the alleged forest scam case. Raids are being conducted at more than a dozen locations in Delhi, Chandigarh and Uttarakhand.
According to sources, Harak Singh Rawat is accused of involvement in the forest scam and money laundering. This morning, multiple teams of the ED have reached his locations in Delhi, Chandigarh and Uttarakhand. The investigation has been going on since morning. However, no official statement has been made so far.
Rawat had joined the Congress ahead of the state assembly elections in 2022 after being sacked from the Uttarakhand cabinet and the BJP’s primary membership for six years for indulging in anti-party activities.
