Raipur, 19th February 2024 / The Pradhan Mantri School for Rising India PM SHRI Yojana is going to be launched in Chhattisgarh on 19th February. The launch of PM SHRI Yojana (PM SHRI YOJANA) will be held at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Auditorium, Science College Ground, Raipur on 19th February at 5.30 PM under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. School Education Minister Brijmohan Agrawal was the chief guest on the occasion.

It is worth mentioning that under the National Education Policy 2020, the central government is upgrading 14500 government schools across the country under the PM Shri Yojana. Under this scheme, 211 schools of Chhattisgarh have been selected in the first phase.

This includes 193 schools at the elementary level and 18 schools at the secondary level. Students will be provided with ICT, digital classrooms in these schools. Students of these schools will be connected with vocational education and opportunities for internship, entrepreneurship with local industries.

Organized by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Government of India, the School Education Department, Government of Chhattisgarh and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, the program will be attended by Lok Sabha MP Sunil Soni, MLAs Rajesh Munat, Purandar Mishra, Moti Lal Sahu, Anuj Sharma, Guru Khushwant Sahib, Indra Kumar Sahu and Mayor Raipur Ejaz Dhebar as special guests.
