2024 Cold Chisel Tour: Cold Chisel has announced a 50th anniversary nationwide tour.

The 50th Anniversary Tour of COLD CHISEL
The iconic band will play shows across Australia.
The legendary Australian rock group Cold Chisel has announced that, in honour of their 50th year together, they will go on a nationwide tour.
The well-known rock band’s “Big 5-0 tour” will take them on the road, with 11 stops scheduled around the country in October and November.
On October 5, the tour starts in the remote NSW town of Armidale. The band’s acolytes will recall that in 1975–1975, they had their base in this town.
The band will continue the tour, stopping at locations in Melbourne, Sydney, Wollongong, and the Gold Coast. Hobart, Ballarat, Newcastle, Perth, and Brisbane.
The trip will come to an end with a farewell performance at a concert held in Adelaide, the band’s birthplace, after the 500 supercars event.
The 50th anniversary tour of Cold Chisel will take place in Australian cities later this year.
Jimmy Barnes, the band’s main vocalist, made a startling admission to Nat Barr during their appearance on Sunrise on Wednesday.
“It’s terrific, and it’s wonderful to be here honouring 50 years. Never believed we’d make it,” Barnes stated, speaking from the heart as always.
“I never thought we’d reach 21. When I joined Cold Chisel, I was sixteen. I believe that all of the musicians we admired, such as Little Richard and Muddy Waters, toured till they ended.
“This is not a job you take on, work on it for a few months, and then quit. It’s a living. It is a component of your spirit and soul. There would be a significant void in our life if we hadn’t taken this action.
Barnes considered his brush with illness. which he was hospitalised for.
“There came a time when I thought I would not survive. Every encouragement. Strolling along the street in the hospital… I was receiving cuddles from people.

It was so touching. I didn’t consider that a given.
The group will play in a specially built Big Top tent for audiences in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, a nod to their album launch from 1982.
The Cruel Sea, The Superjesus, Birds of Tokyo, and Karen Lee Andrews are among the supporting performers.
Don Walker, the band’s principal songwriter and pianist, stated they were really pushing it.
“The Big Five-0 should make a memorable tour by bookending the tour in the two locations where we first brought the band together, constructing these circus tent shows in three cities, bringing along some amazing guests, and doing a set which reaches back across our whole song catalogue,” he stated.
In August, the group will also release a best-of CD.
Ian Moss, a singer and guitarist, has guaranteed fans that the set list would include the most well-known songs.
“Our audience requests to hear at least fifteen songs,” he declared.
“We’ll be performing all of them this time, along with a tonne of musical surprises.”
On Wednesday at 12 p.m., tickets for the Adelaide event go on sale.
Members of Cold Chisel’s email list will be able to purchase limited tickets starting on Friday, May 31 at 12 p.m. (local time).
On Tuesday, June 4, general public tickets will go on sale at 12 p.m. (local time).
