PM Modi asked:

PM: “When was your operation done?”
Girl: “Six months ago.”
PM: “Did you play before as well?”
Girl: “Yes.”
PM: “Do you still play now?”
Girl: “Yes.”
PM: “What do you want to become in the future?”
Girl: “I want to become a doctor.”
PM: “And what will you do after becoming a doctor?”
Girl: “I will treat all children.”
PM (smiling): “Only children? Will you treat us when we grow old?”
Girl (smiling): “Yes, I will.”

The Prime Minister praised her determination, and the girl emotionally said she never imagined she would meet him in person. “This is the first time I met him, and I feel very happy,” she said.

Another young beneficiary said her heart surgery took place in 2014 when she was just 14 months old. She is now completely healthy and actively plays cricket.

PM Modi asked:

  • “Do you go for regular check-ups?”

  • “Yes, sir,” she replied.

  • “Do you still play cricket?”

  • “Yes, sir.”

In another interaction, a student, whose surgery was done in 2023, said she dreams of becoming a teacher. She added, “I want to teach poor children for free because education takes the country forward.”

PM Modi smiled and encouraged her honesty, saying it will take her far in life.

During the interaction, the Prime Minister also shared an inspirational message about environmental responsibility. He spoke about the 100th birth anniversary month of Sathya Sai Baba and said,
“Many years ago, Sathya Sai Baba ensured drinking water for around 400 villages where even the government had challenges. The message for us is clear — we must save water and plant trees.”

He also mentioned his ongoing campaign “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” (A tree in the name of your mother), encouraging every child to plant a tree in their mother’s name as a tribute to both Mother Earth and their own mother.

A young boy from West Bengal named Abhik said he wants to join the Indian Army and serve the nation.

PM Modi asked:

PM: “Will you serve the nation?”
Boy: “Yes.”
PM: “Sure?”
Boy: “Yes.”
PM: “Why?”
Boy: “Because soldiers protect us, and I want to protect the country too.”

At the end of the session, PM Modi encouraged all children to stay healthy and disciplined. “Your body is the means to do every good work. Practice yoga, sleep on time, and take care of your health,” he advised.
