Highlights from Modi 3.0’s first budget:
1. Five youth programs with a Rs. 2 lakh crore budget. Over 5 crore young people will gain from this. Three programs to encourage the creation of jobs.
2. Amount allotted for agriculture and related sectors: Rs 1.52 lakh crore. Digital public infrastructure will assist farmers and their fields. The Farmers and Land Registry will cover six crore farmers.
3. India’s developing east will become its main motor. Bihar has three freeways. The cost of building the new roads is expected to be Rs 26,000 crore. We’re going to build an industrial cluster.
4. The growth of jobs in the manufacturing industry. Incentives for new hires will be given based on their EPFO contribution. Thirty lakh youth will gain from this.
5. For a two-year period, enterprises would receive compensation of Rs 3,000–4,000 per month for each new hire. Fifty crore individuals will gain from this.
6. Direct Benefit Transfer provides benefits up to fifteen thousand rupees to people who start working in the formal sector. Workers who make up to Rs 1 lakh a year will be qualified for this. Over two lakh young people will gain from this.
