Donald Trump Bullet flying : Donald Trump latest news : A photo by New York Times photographer Doug Mills shows a bullet flying near Trump’s head after a shooter attempted to assassinate him during Trump’s election rally in Pennsylvania.
Reports say the Trump rally shooting is currently being investigated as an attempted assassination. The former U.S. president, who was seen with blood on his right ear, was dispatched by Secret Service agents who immediately jumped on him after hearing the shots.
In the photo taken by Doug Mills, the bullet can be seen passing through Trump’s ear. The attacker was later shot dead by Secret Service agents.
The former U.S. president said the bullet had entered the “upper part” of his right ear, the BBC reported. Earlier, Trump’s spokesperson had said that he is fine and is undergoing treatment.
Speaking to the BBC, one of the witnesses, Greg, claimed he saw the shooter standing himself on the roof of a building near the event ground. Armed with a rifle, the shooter crawled into the building from which Gregg was standing, about 50 feet away.
“The man was crawling into the building, 50 feet away from us. He had a rifle, “Greg told the BBC.
The current U.S. President, Joe Biden, also condemned the act and said, “There is no place for this kind of violence in America. ” He also thanked the Secret Service for getting Trump to safety. He called on the US as a nation to condemn the attack on X.
