CBSE 12th Result 2026 Out: 85.20% Students Pass, Know How To Download Marksheet
The Central Board of Secondary Education has officially declared the CBSE Class 12 Board Examination Result 2026 today, May 13. Students who appeared for the examination can now check and download their marksheets through the official result portals.
According to CBSE, a total of 17,80,365 students registered for the Class 12 examination this year. Out of these, 17,68,968 students appeared for the exams and 15,07,109 students successfully passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 85.20%.
Compared to last year, the overall result percentage has declined by 3.19 percentage points. In 2025, the pass percentage stood at 88.39%.
Girls Outperform Boys Again
This year, girls performed significantly better than boys with a difference of 6.73 percentage points in the overall pass percentage.
Region-wise, Thiruvananthapuram recorded the highest pass percentage at 95.62%, while Prayagraj recorded the lowest at 72.43%.

- Visit the official website results.cbse.nic.in
- Click on “Senior Secondary School Examination (Class XII) 2026”
- Enter roll number, school number, admit card ID, date of birth and security pin
- Click on “Submit”
- Your marksheet will appear on the screen
- Download and save it for future reference
How To Download Result Via DigiLocker
Students can also access their digital marksheet through DigiLocker.
- Visit DigiLocker portal
- Click on “Go To Result”
- Select “CBSE XIIth Result 2026”
- Enter roll number and date of birth
- Click on submit to view the marksheet
Students without APAAR-linked accounts can also register using their school code, roll number and 6-digit access code.
Result Available On UMANG App Too
Students can also check their result through the UMANG app and website by entering the required credentials.
