HOW TO APPLY Ration Card Renewal : Ration card renewals under the Public Distribution System are currently available through August 15. In accordance with directives from the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection Department, the state is renewing ration cards and e-KYCing ration card holders. By August 15, 2024, it is mandatory for all Antyodaya, priority, single destitute, disabled, and APL program ration cardholders in the state to complete their E-KYC and ration card renewals. With 71,109 beneficiaries out of a total of 71,329 beneficiaries, Bijapur district leads the renewal work. Narayanpur district comes in second with 35,790 beneficiaries out of 36,136 beneficiaries, and Sukma district comes in third with roughly 78 thousand beneficiaries out of 78,703 beneficiaries who have had their ration cards renewed.
HOW TO APPLY Ration Card Renewal The Food Department has developed a new mobile app for ration card renewal that can be downloaded from the Play Store, according to information received from the department on civil supplies and consumer protection. The recipient may complete the renewal by downloading it from the Food Department’s website at http://khadya.cg.nic.in. Additionally, beneficiaries can visit the fair price shop to complete their e-KYC and renewal online.
Every beneficiary’s biometric should be updated for e-KYC, and members who have children should first update their biometrics at the Aadhaar Seva Kendra. Following this, the fair price shop’s e-PoS machine can be used for e-KYC. The e-KYC service and ration card renewal are free of charge.
